Our cover adds an extra barrier over the whole unit, helping reduce draughts and unnecessary heat loss when the flap isn’t in use. That can support a warmer, more energy-efficient home and help reduce wasted energy.

Some cats learn to paw at or even operate the locking controls on their cat flap. Covering the whole unit helps block access to the flap and its controls, helping prevent determined cats from unlocking it and getting out.

The snug-fit outer frame is designed to stay fitted to your cat flap. For everyday use, you simply slide the front panel down into the built-in groove to cover the flap, then lift it straight back out when you want to use the cat flap again.
Because the frame stays in place, there’s no need to repeatedly push on and pull off the whole cover — helping avoid disturbing parts such as battery or screw covers on the cat flap.
